Yes it is true that almost half the kids have left this team. The kids that left were ok players nothing amazing if they were as good as their parents think they are we would have had a team that won it all the last few years but that didn't happen. So I say good riddance and best of luck in your quest for the Q. My kid will stay at BA and develop.

7 kids from the 05 BA team are leaving. Team will be terrible. That 05 team 3 and 4 years ago was a dream team now it is a little better than town hockey...

05 BA team was middle of pack in E9 - yet 7 kids are leaving??? Where are they going? Cant imagine they are going to FED or they would have done better in E9

2 to the BJE, 1 to Caps and 3 or 4 to Breakers...It happens to most E teams in Peewees. It just they way it is. Good luck to everyone leaving and the new guys coming....

BA is the greatest program in Massachusetts. It took quite of bit of $$ and a brand new Chevy Suburban to convince me to pull my kid away from BA and go chase the "Q". I can't believe my kid is worth that much, wow! D3 here we come!

What's status of 05 team? Heard a few decent kids leaving.

I have the answer for 06 and 05 BA. Just have the 05 Giants play for you. Just like you did for them in BHL parity. KP broke the rules and now the hockey Gods are paying him back.

The FED is all about status and $$. BA kids jumping ship to FED teams because of the "Q". Doling out 15 K so I can say my kid played Q AND another 10 K playing for the Brick team. I am the talk of the town in the DPW garage I work out of. Everyone wishes they were me and had a kid like mine that will likely burnout on hockey by 8th grade. Don't care, I got my brand vehicle and STATUS as a parent of a stud 11, 12, 13 year old hockey player. Don't worry, best player on BA is still there, although I am still trying to turn him to the dark side. Stay tuned folks.

If your kid has good coaches you are doing him a disservice by bouncing around trying to make it to the Q with kids and coaches he won't play with for long.

Let us set the record stratight regarding this stupidity and something that happned six months ago in a parity round.

The 05 Giants were unable to feild enough layers through evals, free skates, begging and any other means to field a full team.

They (within the rules) brought in a 06 BA kid (KP's) to help out in parity. The team was so bad that this 06 actually stuck out.

Here is where this is laughable.

This affected two teams in parity, both taking losses after the kid scored a few late minute goals to tie and then beat two teams. Now, we are talking BHL National teams in their first weekend of play.

This helped the Giants actually stay in BHL and not get swept in parity. I get the coaches and organization wanting this as the uproar from the parents in a brand new organization to have trouble competing would have been bad.

In any event the two teams that this affected in parity (one being a Lovell team) went on to be two of the best teams in the league while the Giants struggled mightily and only did well once they brought in alternates throughout the season. SO in reality the affect was minimal, except for the poor original Giants kids, who did not touch a puck all season and were well aware that the few wins they garnered were the result of alternates coming in to help.
