Re: Junior Terriers Elite

Only positive experiences in 4 years with them. Best aspect of Jr Terriers: no girls teams or full season junior teams. Their sole business is boys youth hockey and that's a huge plus. I pay them for boys youth hockey, they make a profit, everyone happy.
How many Directors of Hockey Operations have they had in those four wonderful years? Heard they lost another. Maybe they should have a Juniors team, to offer actual hockey-related distractions from having to kiss "Elite" parents' asses all day.

Sorry your kid is Tier 1

Haha, you're right, he is - but the REAL Tier 1.

The slap at "Elite" parents is, "Elite" in EHF and E9, well, isn't. Some players. Couple of teams, maybe, if the parents can swallow their egos. Overall? The rest of the country is passing MA by, and giving us the finger as they do.

Sorry your ego is one of the ones so easily bruised.

Sorry your kid is Tier 1

Why? 75% of Elite kids fit right in with most tier 1 kids so I'm guessing if your kid is Elite. he's one of those kids

Shhhh! He likes PRETENDING his kid is Elite. It says so right on the jacket he wears to the rink.

Swing and a miss! (but you are used to that)

You show heart fella, scrappy, like your little bender. That's what they say when they cash your check for Tier 1. "Kids got heart."

In a few years you'll realize calling a kid a Tier 1 player is a compliment, not a put-down. And you'll find yourself saying "I wish my kid had worked harder when he was playing what we called "Elite," he might be able to play Tier 1 instead of working at the rink snack bar."

You goofballs are all I have in this world.

It's you fools who start pen%s compensating about Elite/Tier 1 in every discussion on this board. It's like you can't help yourself, it consumes you. I agree, who cares where they play!! But when you push it you open yourself up to get slapped around. In life we still have levels and classifications. They exist for a reason. You may not like it or agree with it, but they exist. In the current design, "Elite" is higher than "Tier 1." I am not sure what else to say. We are devolving into an "everyone gets a trophy" society and nobody is better than anyone else.

That being said... sorry your kid got cut.

Sorry your kid got cut.

Wow, we really do have mental midgets on these boards.

In the REAL hockey world - as in, outside of MA and our ridiculous "Non-Elite Elite" world, USA Hockey has an actual ranking system. Tier 1 is the highest tier. The Elite Tier.

If your kid is the best of his age bracket, he will be drafted by a USHL team - the only Tier 1 Junior league in the country - when he is 16. Others will get opportunties to play there, if they are good enough.

Along those same lines, outside of MA, two leagues truly have the quality of play to hold themselves out as "elite." They are the High Performance Hockey League and the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League. HPHL spun out of T1EHL a few years back due to the travel required to play elite hockey at a national level. Before that T1EHL had the undisputed title as the country's best league.

So, Tier 1 = Elite. There is no difference between the two terms. One is not higher than the other.

Except here.

2 ways to compensate for a small penis:

(1) Buy a Corvette

(2) Tell people your pre-teen is "elite" at ANYTHING

I am starting to realize that the differentiation of the two leagues drives a lot of the daddy's absolutely insane. It is fascinating, total repressed elite fan boys. Amazing.

Thanks so much.

Thus, sorry we live in Mass.

It says "I like PRETENDING my kid is Elite" on his jacket? That jacket sucks!
