The '04 Black won this weekend but I guess this board is only interested in elite teams.
well of course. Tier 1 is fine and all but really you are just the B teams funding the rest. If you're not "elite" then you are the piggy bank. Accept it for what it is and enjoy your sons career as it is close to being over.
I love guys like this^^^ Obviously never played the game themselves and don't realize a lot of those Tier 1 kids on a team that is obviously well coached are going to leap frog their "Elite" kids pretty soon.
Unless you are the top 1 or 2 kids on a top elite team you are not that elite. Most of the "Elites" are pretty interchangeable with the top Tier 1 kids.
hahahahaha thats funny. Never played a game. it seems that you are projecting considering the laughable and unrealistic comment that these kids are going to "Leap Frog" the elite kids pretty soon. well if they do at least we know the Kings will continue their losing ways. Good luck.
^^^ This guy definitely never played hockey. Ignorance is bliss.

i like the arrows but clearly anyone who thinks the Tier 1 kids will Leap frog anyone but each other in the locker room has never once been involved in youth hockey. Just because you can buy your way onto the indoor Soccer team doesnt mean your kid is passing anyone. good luck in Tier 1 Silver against the EMHL scraps.

Can't say about the guy you are referring to but I haven't been in this hockey world as long as most since my Kid is just a peewee, but I have absolutely seen Elite kids get cut and not be able to make any other Elite teams so they take tier 1 spots and I have seen tier 1 kids leave for Elite teams so it may not be rampant but absolutely happens. That's the problem with calling 7.8.9.10 year old kids elite. Not easy to stomach when your kid has been called elite since he was 7 and at 10 he's told to have a back up plan. Happened to a good friend. Of course ego often stops them from staying at the same org and taking a tier 1 spot so the do the elite chase until reality sets in. Regardless of what you call a division, everyone knows which one is highest and which one is 2nd.

Enjoy the ride no matter what level your kid plays on, because they will all be playing together in beer leagues in 10 years.

Maybe I'm missing something but how is a team with approximately the same amount of games and the same ice time and paying the same tuition funding another team? Typical though, I'll give you that
3 straight years with no EHF championships. Didn't even make the finals at any age group this year. Are they now just "one of the programs"? Obviously not at the lowly level of TopGun, Bandits, and Falcons, but can't deny what is in black and white.... thoughts?
Tryouts start this week. Most players have their contracts. You clearly don't skate at the Kings so, it's either too late more than likely if you are considering it, or (and I suspect this to be the case) you are just stirring the pot sir.
stirring the pot of what? Truth? it is not inaccurate what OP is saying so are they falling apart? if you cant make a run at any age level doesn't that tell you something about the program? to me it screams of 2nd and 3rd rate players playing up that dont belong there because they cant get anyone else.
They didn't steal him. Where else was he going to go? The whole 02 breaker team split up. Two went to the Kings some to the terriers. Only 2 or 3 breaker players stayed with the breakers. The 02 breakers u14 team could not compete. He made the right decision
