Re: 04 Tier 1 Black

04 still bantam minor. The "prepping for HS" larger rosters may be seen next year in bantam major. EHF Tier 1 does not do parity for bantam major ( u14) so you won't have these silly concerns over what color level your kid is at. Wait until that long time " white level" u14 kid steamrolls your longtime ' black level" snowflake for the first time. Then you will know your son's real hockey career has finally started.

You sound just like every other lower level club hockey parent loser who thinks when "hitting starts" my Johnny's gonna be an animal and all those elites are gonna suck. So wrong. Hate to tell ya pal, those kids will still be tougher and better than yours.

Neither one of you are 100% correct. Fact is none of us know how a kid will react to a hard check until it happens. Most kids are fine with it but more than one mite/squirt/peewee superstar has been sidetracked when the game gets physical. Size doesn't become an automatic equalizer though. Not in today's game. You still have to know how to skate.

The impact of hitting is overrated. Those mite/squirt/peewee superstars of which you speak are the ones who were on their way downhill even before bantam. It's not the hitting, it's the speed and skill of the game that leaves them behind as kids start to hit puberty and grow into their body.

Re: 04 Tier 1 Black

Were the Breakers and Rangers coaches suspended -- I assume they put false names on the roster for the game to try to hide what they were doing? Why are the Breakers allowed in the parity for the White division and did the Rangers just drop out of the league?

I'd like these details too. I was very surprised the Breakers' coach was involved -- seemed like a stand-up guy.
