At the younger levels its a town level league for the most part , each division typically has a couple of pretty decent teams but overall it is junk . The only decent thing is they typically keep the top teams playing the top teams and the garbage paying the garbage .
This a not a full time league. This is a supplemental league with 16 games consisting of 2 4 game showcases and 8 games from Sept-Jan. Yes there are town teams but there are 4 different levels to help with parity or organizations with multiple teams at one age level.
The EJEPL league is the most professionally run league that is not a money grab.
The Fed and E9 dont have to be run professionally because the options are limited for higher level hockey in new england

You are right about they do a good job of keeping teams playing similar levels but Junk is not correct at all. The top teams at most age levels would compete at the EHF Elite levels and fair very well and from there on down they have teams that would compete at all levels. It is a supplemental league and and you have a range of talent levels. Its a great league for teams outside of the EHF Area (which we know is limited) to play each other and experience something outside the same 8 organizations each year.
