Any 2007 should be on their way to equipment independence. The skates are better off not being overtightened anyway. Let him tie his own skates and stay out of the locker room. Honestly I think parents don't let their kids tie their own because they want to keep getting that last word in before game time. Time to let go, our job as parents is to raise a child that can go off and survive on their own, is it not?
