Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

Where do you get your info? I know for a fact your full of it when it comes to issues with merchandise. I had an issue, and (she actually has a name....not Warrens wife) Erika was pleasant and helpful. Don't stir up unnecessary **** for no reason.

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

Well than you are admitting that the rest of the post is correct. I also believe that the D-Board frowns upon using people's names (Just initials). Know thanks to you we all know WN wife's first name. Maybe you are a very SPECIAL person that she treats you so well.

It seems the facts are Mrs. N will be looking for work somewhere else at the end of this hockey season. Maybe you will hire her?

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

On the bright side! All the TACC merchandise will be available at a 75% discount next year when the program does not exist anymore !

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

Sad, the kids need this new rink. Not enough ice time to go around. Kids only develop on the ice. No, there is not much talent on the Cape but not much talent at the BB or the BSB either. The kids still love to play no matter what rink or organization.

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

First of all, there's plenty of talent at BB and BSB. If you're going to cite the 05 Jr. Hurricanes that went to BB, they got plenty of talent. EHF elite is pretty stiff competition, but they'd be doing just fine if they were in E9 and would mop up the BHL. Secondly, as the Jr. Hurricanes proved for many years, there is a market for a select hockey program on the Cape. It may not be EHF elite caliber, but plenty of kids who played for the Hurricanes over the years are doing quite well at the local high schools. So, hopefully, Total Athletics can make the adjustments needed and move forward with the program, and with better leadership they can be successful.

Thee's a very small contingent of people here that are butt hurt over the Cape hockey scene. No need to really react to it, they wouldn't be happy if they built a three rink complex and announced free hockey for all with a Cape address.

I think it has something to do with the sense of isolation that comes from living somewhere people only want to go in the summer.

"EHF caliber"?? Stop it you're hilarious. It's a rec hockey league.

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

Kudo!!!!!
They do not need another Ice rink. There are six on the peninsula and one on each island. Each one of them are good ice surfaces. Some of these other rinks you go to off Cape you cannot even seen the lines but you can still see gauges in the ice after the Zamboni goes over it (over Use).
There are good solid players on the Cape.
The old organization was a family, Christmas skating and party for the entire organization. Big banquet at the end, no awards just the players and FAMILIES.
It has been nothing like that this year. Some good Coaches who remained but no direction or support from management.
When you make it for the kids and their development it is fun to watch and be around. Not the case this year.
The message from the beginning is/was money we will raise the rate and you will get less or not at all. WE ARE BUILDING A NEW BUILDING. It is PLANNED to be about 2.5 miles away from the Twin Barnstable Rinks which are excellent.
Some of the other Coaches got ice around the Cape to help cut down travel time for families But that has been frowned upon by this management group. It is all about the money not development. NEW BUILDING NEW BUILDING. Maybe for other sports but not another rink.
The skills guy/Hockey Director DH does not even show up for skills some nights or makes it 30 minutes (really).

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

I have one son on a Bandits team and one on the Seahawks.
The Bandits skills their Coaches are there even some of the Junior players helping out with the kids.
The Seahawks as the other poster said the Skill guy does not even show up. Not one Junior Player shows up to help.
The kids look up to kids/juniors, one organization they are around and my son talks about them.
The other organization it is a ghost town, the only time you see them is when they get on the bus for road trips.

Unfortunately for you, moving on with better leadership would mean getting rid of the current owner. His numbers compared to the last year the Hurricanes were not under his ownership are down. Parent's are not happy. Eventually there will not be a program.

when you say they will be just fine, you mean those 1-24 ex Jr Hurricanes, yes? Just checking

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

Yes, they would be in top half of E9 standings. I’m sure they’re getting plenty of good coaching.

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

People who sign with a total joke and a football guy to make their kids elite hockey players should have their heads checked! Give me 3 grand and I'll tell you all the lies you want to hear. Merry Christmas!

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

They gave WN's childhood friend's son a spot on the Junior Seahawks Team as a Goalie.
Brockton, Mass Cronies!

Thanks MS! It is great not having him around the Rink. Next get rid of him and his cronies completely. His hands are dirty, he still is meddling. Clean house. Like Trump should have done.

Re: Stick a fork in it 1/2 way through the season TACC is done

NEW BUILDING? Have they even broken ground yet?
