Re: Tom Poti Signs as Part Owner of the Boston Bandits

After several dumpster fire years 3-4 years ago the Bandits have actually been heading in the right direction the past few years.

\"The Boston Bandits Hockey Organization is joining forces with NHL veteran Tom Poti in a partnership agreement set to commence on January 1st, 2018. In addition to his role as part owner of the Bandits, Poti will take the reigns of the 2009 and 2010 teams for the 2018-19 season.

\"I am thrilled to become part owner of the Boston Bandits organization. They are a well established program that has been around for many years, and I am excited to be part of the future,” said Poti.

The addition of Poti, who currently resides in Sandwich, MA, is an ideal way to combine the untapped potential of hockey rich Cape Cod with the existing Bandits talent pool. To be coached by an NHL All-Star and Olympic medalist is an opportunity few athletes at any level would turn down.

“After playing 15 seasons in the NHL I never imagined there would be something as fulfilling as playing, but I have found it in coaching and developing hockey players. I am looking forward to working with everyone in the Bandits organization and the success that lies ahead,” Poti added.

His dedication to developing future generations of college and pro athletes as a youth hockey coach ensures Poti’s transition to the Bandits will be seamless.

Partner, Ben Ewing states, “Having Tom Poti with his former NHL teammate Brian Pothier (Director of Player Development) and Bandits Doug Shepherd (Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations) establishes one of the finest management teams in all of youth hockey. The addition of Poti as a youth coach and partner will undoubtedly produce significant advances in the Bandits organization. We look forward to more great things from the Bandits in the future with Tom by our side.”

The Bandits are committed to their prolonged success as an elite youth hockey program, which is evident by the continued growth of their hockey operations staff, coaching staff and membership in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), Eastern Hockey Federation (EHF) and New England Girls Hockey League (NEGHL).\"
This will make TACC go under within 2 years.
2 years ?If TA can field a single team at any age group next year then Cape parents are dumber than I thought !
