My understanding is the coaches were not upset about loosing the game because it was a great competive game between two very comparable teams .The tournament was intended to be a break from the competitive regular season 10 year old hockey .It is my understanding that the hosting organization set the tournament up with total intentions of a fun positive atmosphere.First and foremost the 3v3 emphasized FUN.
A “FEW” parents representing the host Tier1 organization reacted like they were playing for the Stanley Cup rather than enjoying a FUN 3v3 between a well coached ,skilled Tier1 team and a mixed bag of Select/Elite players that were not away enjoying vacation time away from Hockey .It appears that this “SMALL”group of Tier 1 parents do not have life’s away from Hockey .Their children’s hockey life ,IS THEIR ONLY LIFE !PROOF BEING THIS SOCIAL MEDIA GOSSIP !!IT APPEARS WINNING is PARAMOUNT to anything outside of Hockey for that SMALL group of tier 1 parents . The same group that OBVIOUSLY only have 2 goals in life for their boys . Goal 1#Elite Hockey and Goal #2 NHL Hockey . They choose to live thru their childrens shoes . Vulgarity and utter disrespect for the children in the stands , players on the ice ,officiating ,and opposing coaching staff is known to be a common occurrence from this SMALL group .Its a shame that grown adults incite the players ,families, opposing coaches and the officiating.The shear fact that gossip TITLED BLOW UP is a topic being discussed on YOUTH hockey board is proof of the level of maturity of people scripting the gossip . 10 year old Hockey is about sportsmanship , respect and love for the game. Get a life and find something better to do with your time than gossip on social media about 10 year old Hockey !Both organizations are Extremely PROFESSIONAL and are represented by great kids and coaches .Adult gossip is Drama ! Ten year old Hockey should not have to be mixed up with the word Drama. There is no room for Vulgarity lack of humility ,poor sportsmanship and disrespect for women in youth sports . Bottom line this social media Garbage is proof of all that !
My guess is this response is from the mom who went to complain to the director of the tournament or "The Situation" himself. So is it true or not true that a VJW daddy/coach went looking for an Islander dad 3-4 weeks later and started a fight at a youth tournament? Is it just gossip or did it really happen? Seems like multiple people have witnessed it. If it really happened than that's a much bigger problem...that's a wonderful example, starting a fight "over 10 yo hockey".
huskies have very good pockets of birth years. Unfortunate that the 06.07 are a complete mess. The 07 coach, or lack of a better word is just a door opener with no hockey IQ.
