AA bid, not same as FED bid. Basically end up playing against the lower end Tier 2 MHR teams.:grimacing: :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Goalie to NHL

Blue Hills Regional high school has a goalie 6'6 on skates and will go to the show!

Re: Goalie to NHL

Lets pretend for 5 seconds you are not kidding. 1 haha, 2 haha, 3 haha, 4 haha, 5 haha

5 seconds are up, carry on.

Was this written by the goalies mom or his gf?

Re: Goalie to NHL

No, sir I saw this kid play at the ice house in canton he is a beast.

Re: Goalie to NHL

Ummmm, 6'6" on skates isn't really that tall.

And it takes a bit more than size.

6'6" with skates means 6'4" without skates - yes, tall, but not unusually so. You can find 6'4" kids on almost every hockey roster Juniors and up.

I get that but you make it sound like it’s no big deal. 6’4” is significant for a goalie when you consider wingspan, leg reach, etc.
A 6’4 kid has an immediate advantage in any scouts eye.

Hahaha, yeah, I guess you're right. Being 6'6" myself I HAVE never seen it as "big deal."

Makes flying tough, I can tell you that.

Well us 5'10" notice it! lol

Re: Goalie to NHL

The Quinnipiac kid from the old Springfield Cathedral was a legit 6'5" and could barely stand-up on skates and they've made him into a goalie. So anything over 6'2" / 6'3" is possible I suppose.

It's D3 HS, not exactly CC or D1 let's let this thread die for the absurdity that it is.
