Ummmm, 6\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'6\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" on skates isn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t really that tall.

And it takes a bit more than size.
6’6” is tall no matter what at have on your feet. Story short goalie Dad.
6\\\'6\\\" with skates means 6\\\'4\\\" without skates - yes, tall, but not unusually so. You can find 6\\\'4\\\" kids on almost every hockey roster Juniors and up.
I get that but you make it sound like it’s no big deal. 6’4” is significant for a goalie when you consider wingspan, leg reach, etc.
A 6’4 kid has an immediate advantage in any scouts eye.
Hahaha, yeah, I guess you're right. Being 6'6" myself I HAVE never seen it as "big deal."

Makes flying tough, I can tell you that.
Well us 5'10" notice it! lol

Re: Goalie to NHL

The Quinnipiac kid from the old Springfield Cathedral was a legit 6'5" and could barely stand-up on skates and they've made him into a goalie. So anything over 6'2" / 6'3" is possible I suppose.

It's D3 HS, not exactly CC or D1 let's let this thread die for the absurdity that it is.
