Re: Can a coach step on the ice after player is hurt?

Anon
I am a coach and also an MD. I will go on the ice during any injury to my team or the other teams and their is not a thing the ref or league can do to stop me unless they want to get sued by the parent of the kid who will say that the league rule resulted in delay of care which caused more serious injury or death.
Hahaha, listen to you Mr. Self-Aggrandizement!

It isn't a league rule, and 99.9% of coaches aren't doctors. The rule isn't there to prevent a kid from getting appropriate medical attention.

Most times they have to resort to yelling "Is there a doctor in the house?"

Fantastic! Since you are a doctor and part time lawyer could you please provide another case of this proving precedent?
