This is not even allowed in most leagues unless the kid was registered as alternate. I also don't think you know much about player development as that happens at practice. 2-3 minutes of less ice per game isn't going to make your son/daughter any better. Hell, maybe a little pressure to perform and some competition for ice time will.

I feel this is just wrong. Nobody talks to them in the locker room. I pay money for my kid to play. No need to bring players in unless our team has under 10 players. I think the kids on our team would develop faster with more shifts but what do I know. Coach most of the team didn’t care for you. Now we hate you.
