Again, no official knowledge, but something tells me they are building that rink behind Walmart on Route 1N (opposite HockeyTown) and then will move all the Boston American teams there when its done...then sell the land which Hockeytown sits on.

serious question. why would anyone want their kids to play for a team out of hockey town? the rink is so bad and the ice is the worst in New England.

The ice isn't even the worst in Saugus. How about Kasabuski? Other than that, totally agree, the place is a dump. They are doing the Islanders a favor by booting them.
