Those teams might have 1 or 2 very good players and the rest are just kids who live close enough that that rink to call home so that does not make them any better than the rest. Keep dishing out the $3500 for your delusion buddy. come on back in 10 years and let us know how many goals your bender scored in the Cranston Mid Week A League.

Don't even pay close to that but thanks for worrying. All kids start in town, and town isn't even really town anymore. Those days are done, kids come from all over as local town teams have dried up.

But to say those teams would win is crazy. Bears A team scrimmaged Saints last year and got destroyed, and that team was far better then this year's Bears team. And the 06 Saints aren't even close to being as good as current 07 Saints. Not saying those 3 teams aren't good or full of benders. But they can't compete with the elite teams.

Well, lets see... Patriots (3rd place in E9) beat Caps (4th place in EHF) by score of 5-2. Saints beat Patriots 3-2. Logic tells me that the Saints are good as are the Patriots. 2007 EHF has 3 "Elite" teams. The rest are just the same as #2-#9 in the E9.

Yeah, great move for that coach that left a 2011 team. Boy, he spent a lot of time with that 2011 team, and they still need work. I don’t blame him for leaving. Those kids are at least 5 yrs old now and I bet most don’t wear diapers anymore. I think that coach will make the 2011 caps real good. He will be real proud. He should be the poster boy for USA Hockey. WTF?

He was the coach of the 09 team and also had 2 older kids in the program and a lot of influence with the 07/08 coaches. This is not about the 2011 team. This was to tell RI Youth Hockey a Div 1 high school coach spurred the E9 and the Saints for the EHF and the Caps. As much as i dont like the Caps as an organization they are great at marketing.

Gotta disagree with you on this point...RJ great guy, not so much. Has damaged 3 organizations and left many families unhappy. Last year he promised the world to all the 09 Saints parents that left their Mite B teams. Then after 1 season leaves on the 09 Saints.

Typical coach, blame the talent not the coaching. He should've recruited better babies at Hasbro like the Caps do (2011 Elite bahhh). But he couldn't, so he went the route of if you can't beat'em, join'em.

OK, Think about what you are saying. RJ left a team of 5-6 year olds because he could not develop them, and/or he could not recruit/steal any 5-6 year olds to come to his team. Now he is going to the Caps because they were able to steal some 5-6 year olds, and now RJ is going to coach them. What will RJ do next year if the Caps can’t recruit/steal some new 6-7 year olds at the end of the season....

Now let’s foreshadow to high school hockey in RI...

This was more about how bad the BHL is, and how the Saints have nothing at the lower levels. Saints 08 and 09 team are terrible. They would be B teams in state league. He saw this, on top of no talent coming in and left. 10 kids at the Saints eval skate and he bounced. 08 coach and RJ are cronies so I would bet he's next. RJ has moved on to his 4th organization in 5/6 years so he's a good fit for the Caps.

You need to get a hobby, a life and some sleep.
