WN will find a way to infiltrate the new Cape Cod Lightning program...You can count on it...He's like a mold that grows everywhere and you just can't get rid of it...He's probably lying in wait as we type...:imp: :imp:
Will be announced later this week or early next. Sold to new owner, both youth and JR team. Adding u16 and u18 Full Season teams. Struck a long-term lease contract in Hyannis. Keeping the name Seahawks but changing it to Cape Cod Seahawks. All bailed and WN forces out. Staying in e9 and EHL. Details still being worked out on older Full Season teams.
This was Alpert of the plan. He's getting I'm with Poti amd they will buy Bandits.

Translation please?
In with Poti and they bought the bandits
No way they are buying the Bandits. Sherman wants to get something off the ground for Cape youth. He has no interest in Bridgewater. WN didn't have the money to cover his end in the Cape...one of the reasons he's out with Sherman, so he wouldn't have the money to buy the Bandits either. But this is what I don't get....I thought TA Hockey was really WN's deal and he was just using Sherman for the shiny facility. Does Sherman technically own the Seahawks now? One thing is for sure...Sherman is clearly smarter than Bandits Management. It took them 3-4 years of running the 06 division into the ground before he was gone. It only took Sherman one. Kudos to him.
Not sure what the confusion is. Total Athletics acquired the hockey club. WN was a partner in Total Athletics. He is no longer a partner. Sherman was a partner and still controls Total Athletics which controls the hockey club. In other words, WN did not personally purchase the hockey piece. Regardless, they still have the ice contracts and hopefully they can get beyond this season to become a respectable hockey club whether they are part of the future Total Athletics operation or spun out to a new owner.

So I suspect the confusion is how does a football guy end up owning a hockey club. Even with WN out, hard to see much coming of the Seahawks. Too bad for the original Hurricanes who stayed

I though t you were moving to Minnesota or Canada or something ? Some place where your kid could be looked at for his ability without the black cloud hanging over his head. Make sure he wears a jersey with no name in case people start googling !

C'mon WN...are you serious...Haven't you had enough of being a punching bag...why would you even think of staying around the rinks on Cape Cod...Better to just fade into the sun set and re-group out of state...do it for your kid if nothing else...
This thread cracks me up. I'm still waiting for the "Please Stop" guy who thought there were one or two disgruntled Bandits posters repeatedly posting about WN. Could it be that Please Stop guy had stopped defending him because he figured out that 3 teams worth of 06 Bandits families weren't wrong?
I can see how the Organization is run from the outside. My son's team has been playing in the Hurricane Invitational for two years. This season it is now the Seahawks Invitational. Our coach wanted to go back because it was well run before and it is the start of the school Vacation week.
Well we can see why everyone on this board has been talking about how things are being run by the Seahawks group. It is less than 48 hours before the Tournament is to start. No schedule posted on their site. Our coach advised us he heard there maybe only 3 or so teams in our age group. We guess three, we are out for next season.
If this is how the entire year has been for these folks I can understand their disappointment.
Their site has said "Schedule will be uploaded soon", it has been like that for three days.

Seriously. Shame on your coach. More importantly, shame on you and your parent group. Not one person spoke up with any concerns about entering this tournament after what has been widely publicized ? There is a reason there will only be three teams, and that is because everyone else used sound judgment and common sense to stay away.
Plenty of other tourneys during Feb vacation week.

So who are remaining owners of TACC? Other than Sherman ?
PV- Really...
Name only involved in new program. Tough to be director from Florida. Don't think he"ll be spending his winters on the Cape for bad youth hockey.
Nobody involved has been through the mess that is club Hockey in Mass, let alone train wreck on the Cape. ( DH is looking toward Northern NE. )
In the end Checks will be cashed though you can bet on it.
