The tazing happened a few months ago at TG 100%...not sure what else happened if anything today

Watched on livebarn, not really sure what I watched. Thought I might see a nice Donnybrook but instead saw saw one team not trying. Maybe someone could fill the rest of in.

Aw come on. You don't really believe that, do you? Let me ask you: are the kids better off after that charade, or could it have been handled differently in a way that showed the kids how to deal with adversity or difficult people, if that is the beef?

So you would embarrass yourself and your kids over a "bad" ref? Are you on crack? So, let me make sure I have this straight: You think you got stiffed with a so-called bad ref, before the game even starts. Rather than having your kids work through any potential adversity, you quit. You, my friend, should bring your kids to play for this coach, you're made for each other.

For those of us who have a life and don't spend time/money on Live Barn, what happened?

At first, the Shamrocks players did not even come out for the opening face-off, the five skaters and goalie just gathered around the bench area. Looked like the refs waited for them to come out for a bit, then just dropped the puck. Top Gun skated down and scored three quick goals, and then the players came out on the ice but the goalie stayed by the bench area. When the puck was dropped subsequently, the Shamrocks skaters barely moved unless it was to pretend to dive. After three minutes or so and 10 goals, the refs called the game and instructed Top Gun to skate off the ice and not shake hands. Overall, pretty classless of the Shamrocks in my opinion. I think there were better life lessons that could have been taught playing through the adversity of poor refereeing if that was truly what it was about.

All this for SILVER division hockey. LOL

Great message to send the kids...Did the parents on the Shamrock side know that it was going to go down like that? If they did know and allowed their kid to be part of it they should be embarrassed...if not, then they should be ****** at the coach and organization as a whole...What a charade....Just mind boggling at that level...Was the coach drinking :beer: :beer: :beers: ...sounds like he must have been...sounds like an ass-hat...Hopefully some of the parents laid into him after the game...

My kid would be ****** if a coach asked him to participate in a charade like that. And I'd be furious if his coach forced him into it. If that team doesn't forfeit the rest of their games this year due to a shortage in players then the parents on that team are lemmings.

What was the point? Shamrocks protesting the ref before the game even started??

At the end of the game, when the Shamrocks are leaving the ice, you can hear on the LiveBarn video one Shamrock kids say "let's go! I want to go home and go back to bed." And that right there sums up that teams/coaches youth hockey careers. Unbelievable.

Shamrocks have always been the worst. Nothing but Daddy coaches.

Not sure if Shamrock coach is a parent of a player or not and I agree his "protest" was ill advised. BUT, the refs at TG are notoriously one sided. Maybe more to the point though is that this Shamrock team had been outscored 17-2 in it's previous 2 games.The coach is on the edge anyway and seeing these particular refs were about do the game he reacted poorly.Mistake on the coach's part.Unless you are an exceptional person you've something like this along the way.
