Actually a few years ago that 05 TG team was pretty competitive, and then the dregs from The Bulldogs went there, and the team went down the toilet. Some of the kids could actually play, but the attitudes of the kids and parents was embarrassing. They were either drunk or delusional. Poisoned the whole program.

2. Bench. Culture of team. Divided. Never unified
3. Awful communication
4. No development. A few good players ( favs ) and Jr only.
5. No coaching at practice. Just practice itself. No instruction.
6. No heart. Only in it for Jr sake not org and not for team.

The No. 1 thing a coach should be judged on is whether his/her players (who didn't get cut or leave for "ELITE" team) want to come back to play the following season.

lot of turn over at the t1 level not just the bulldogs. Look at ihc or the vipers. new teams every year at 05.

Seems like you're the one that can't get over it. Still talking about it. No one else hears a cowbell so maybe your ears are the only ones that can hear it. Sad that's all you can come up with bad about the Bulldogs. Other "stories" have already been rebuked here. So it sounds like the only thing left people are complaining about is that the coach's kid isn't that great - big deal. Your kid must be a superstar. Sounds like sour grapes to me...

What else are you Ex-Bulldog parents going to make up? Again sounds like one of the previous posters said, YOU parents were the problem there as well as the other teams you played for...

The B dogs owner must love controversy. Other wise he would be done with this guy and his wife.

What controversy? Can someone please give us a valid reason why this coach is a jerk other than his kid sucks and granny rings a cowbell? You all sound like typical EHF black/white/silver parents that are two-year-olds, didn't get your way, and have an axe to grind because maybe your kid isn't that good. Please give us something with some substance...

Does he come to practices/games drunk?

Seems like you've glossed over the fact that 2 different groups of 10 or more kids have left JD in the last 3 seasons. Is that normal?

Did the crazy parents from the first group hate JD that much to convince the 2nd group of parents to leave the bulldogs 2 years later?

A couple left because the Janas rink is awful. Three left because they had a chance to move up to an "Elite" team. Four more kids left because they were driving over an hour for practices every week. Two that left don't even play hockey anymore and wanted to play baseball year round. None of these reasons have to do with the coach. He doesn't choose the rink for the team. You could also argue that the kids HE developed were now good enough to move to an "Elite" team. Because they are not a founding member of the EHF, the Bulldogs can't offer an "Elite" team. Again, no fault of the coach.

The owner of the program is a great guy and tries to do what is in the best interest of ALL of his players. He can clearly see most problems are caused by the parents, he has to deal with them too. I'm sure he wasn't sad to see them go! The ones that left, continue to talk bad about the program and bounce around from team to team. No coach or team ever seems good enough for their gifted players. Quite a few left to fulfill their dream of playing Elite hockey with Top Gun. Others have given up playing hockey altogether since they didn't make the teams they thought they would. LOL.

I guess what you are saying is that the 05 bulldogs is where all youth hockey dreams go to die. You want your kid to quit playing hockey? Send him to go play for JD. :joy:
