Eagles 06 are going to be one of the top fives teams in the country. I believe they finished ranked third in country last season and have picked up a couple of great additions. From very good to great this season. Excellent coaching too. JS and JI combo hard to beat.

BS is coaching Breskers this season. Think he’s trying to really turn that program around. I’ve heard the program has had some issues in the recent past but give the guy kudos for trying at least.

Right, and DC left the Breakers to turn the Bandits around..how's that working? Both Elite and tier 1 will struggle at both of those programs this year.

some of the problems from the last couple years are no longer there so hopefully they can turn it around.

Bet Wisely....
Your vaunted Tier 1 Black 06 Islanders (east) team just went 1-3 in four games of the Warrior Tourney. If that's the best you got in the 2006 EHF "black" division, people should start recognizing the downfall and quality of the EHF "black" division. I can just imagine what the "white" and "silver" divisions look like. Not great hockey folks. Support your local town hockey organizations instead.
Please bare me the excuses of "kids on vacation" and "haven't skated in a while". All these teams are in the same boat...

IHC East Black has 7 new players on that team without so much as 1 team practice under their belt and they played 2/3 of the best the E9 has to offer.
Yet still:
vs Warriors elite up 2-1 entering 3rd period. lose game 4-2
vs Seacoast elite enter 3rd period tied 0-0 lose game 4-0
You know what would happen if IHC East Black played 2/3 of the EHF's top teams. You think it would be a competitive game vs IHC Elite or Jr Eagles elite?
Keep telling yourself E9 is elite, loser. There's a reason they put those kids in the same division as the Warriors and Seacoast, but kept them far from Wizards and Avalanche.
Just a quick glance at last years 06 E9 standings tells me that Seacost and the Warriors finished 4th and 5th. The 2 best teams were in the E9 finals the Patriots and Advantage. Rifles finished third. I don’t see the Lovell Knights in the E9 standings so they were in the BHL.

Seacoast and Warriors finished 4th and 5th last year. When did you play 2/3 of the best the E9 has to offer?
For as Long as my bender has played youth hockey and I’ve visited these boards. I’ve never read T1 parents boast that their kid’s team is better than e9. I have read dozens of posts where e9 dads jump on here to blast the fed and beg for recognition. A good Black division team gave some good e9 teams a good game. I would expect that. To try and stretch that sentiment to playing on a town team because you think they would do the same? That’s a stretch e9 Guy.

Listen, let me simplify this dummies. The Top half of the Fed is the best in the Area. period. No question. Mix the bottom of the Fed with the Top of the E9. The Middle/Bottom of the E9 with the T1 Black and Top of the T1 White, the BHL with the Bottom of the T1 Black, T1 White and The AHL with the VHL.
Now recite this 100 times until engraved in thy cranium.
When did the 06 Isles become the top dog in Tier 1 Black? I thought that was the Northstars and Vipers?
When an Isles Dad posts. No difference than if a Top Gun Dad posts
I have to agree. Unless some kind of attrition(the goalie.... maybe she left?) there's no basis for Northstars to be out of the top 2. MMF much better with some cuts from the Elite team shoring up this team but the goalie was from off the street and filled post tryouts. Better competition may expose them.
Islanders East Black is mainly a brand new team right? Tough to say how they're an easy favorite. Oddsmakers need to put your crack pipes down.

Of course you have to agree...Because you are the MMFs Dad. If I hear one more time about the goalie.....oh ya, off the street? Heard that for two years before this season.

Not a MMF's Dad but when flyers are up all over NESC multiple seasons in a row looking for 2006 goalies that's a factor. The Teams results last couple of years are bottom of Black and not competitive with a goalie issue. Then down to White and lost the goalie again. Team is probably mid pack if goalie doesn't pan out. That's more to go on than the Islanders taking it all pick at 4-1 with 0 games played.
Flip 1,2 with 3,4 and leave the odds the same. That's more likely an outcome.
And relax, try to think about your portfolio the same way you think about hockey gossip.....like if you have to hear one more thing about Amazon.com not making any profits etc as the stock has doubled this year.
E9 Daddy's have such a complex it amazes me every year. Mix the Majority of the 06 E9 in the Fed Elite---it gets ugly quick for them. Truth. Mix the Majority of the T1 Black in the E9--it is competitive hockey. True story.
Think EHF Elite, two teams, Islanders and Eagles. Both well coached and competitive players. Both strong offensively and defensively. Photo finish.Remaining teams should be strong but these two are the best. Both should finish in top 5 at end of season national rankings. Q year too. I’ve been told Q is a tiered tournament. First, second and possibly third tier. Eagles and Islanders in top tier so they’re going to face the best at that age level and wish them well this season.
