Full disclosure: my kid is PHL so he got cut numerous times from both leagues. No skin in the game. That said, funny how E niners b’ and moan about the Islanders and their EHF shenanigans, when you have Lovell doing the exact same thing in the E9/BHL with their assorted shenanigans. Birds of a feather I tell you!
#37 for advantage 07 black team played E9 qualifying game on sat and then played for advantage select team on sunday against icemen. i know its been going on for years, but its time to enforce the rules posted on the site. im sure someone from icemen 07 team can look at game sheet and then livebarn the advantage black game the day before against saints. but oh, thats right, the icemen are a lovell team as well.i am sure this wasnt the only shuffling going on. one question for the league....why do you keep allowing it??? according to rules posted online, the player should be banned.
here is the rule:
Any player that plays in either an Elite 9 and/or BHL qualifying game for more than one team will be expelled from both leagues.
If any player that is on the USA roster of a team that has already qualified for the Elite 9 participates for any other team in the Elite 9 or BHL qualifying tournament, both the PLAYER and TEAM will be removed from the qualifying tournament and will be expelled for the current season.
Experienced this first hand on numerous occasions when my kid played for one of their lesser orgs. It was a mad dash to grab Advantage kids, especially when playing another Lovell program. Most times for no reason at all, just to make sure the other Lovell team didn't get them. Or take kids on the Elite teams to play on Select teams. No one cares about Lovell on Lovell crime.

A) He's one of the founders, rank has it's privaledge
B) It makes marketing easier if more teams are in the 'merican
C) Some of his teams are less than full and need skaters
This goes on all the time. EHF teams use kids in spring parity that will never skate with them come the fall, either because they are actually with a different org or because they are on their elite team.
Keep it in perspective, it's youth hockey and you have a long road ahead of you. I'm not condoning cheating but chances are your player didn't notice until you or the coach told him. Keep things in perspective, let your kid have some fun and hope that he continues to develop. If you are that concerned, go make a Lovell team and think of all the extra ice your player can get.
No coach from HS on will ever ask or care what team, division or league you played in.

Lovell is not one of the founders of the E9/BHL. The league was founded and is owned in its entirety by the Valley Warriors folks. Boston Advantage was one of the original members, but Lovell does not have any special pull in the league, other than the fact that he has 4 programs enrolled and is the biggest customer.
On another note, it is tough to take this post seriously when the poster believes privilege is spelled as privaledge. Yikes.
lovell does not own league. just owns several organizations.....
if your gonna post rules, enforce them. its that simple. owners of e9- please provide explanation as to why you dont enforce the rules?
Because nobody can provide any facts of this happening that is outside of the rules. Just the perception and belief. Being a sore loser doesn't make it true as much as you want it to be. I have heard this accusation several times and it always come back full circle to two or three incidents that people don't have any clue about and do not know the full story.

One of their players showed up for 07 E9 play in game in Walpole on Sunday and in the lobby a teammate said Awesome, you are playing for us today! Last year their 09 Select team was twice as good as their elite team. Questions?
"Proven wrong based on the post above"...yes, nothing like that ironclad evidence of 2 10-year olds chatting.
I'm sure you got some updates on their fortnighting skills too!
Dad, If you're eavesdropping on kids conversations, and those kids are not your own, then you are sick and need to get a life.
So anonymous writes “#37 for advantage 07 black team played E9 qualifying game on sat and then played for advantage select team on sunday against icemen”. Where’s your proof? Where you at both rinks? Maybe there’s a #37 on both BA teams. It’s popular # in this area. Does your sons team have a #37 on it?
Then, anon writes “one of their players showed up for 07 E9 play in game in Walpole on Sunday and in the lobby a teammate said Awesome, you are playing for us today”. So this sounds like a kid was brought in or brought up for the game in Walpole, which I can tell you didn’t happen either. Maybe it was for the Jr Bruins or the other 2 teams that were playing in the other rink? What time was this at? Again, where’s the proof?
Anonymous and anon, sounds like you have something against BA, if you do, please don’t bring me or my team into the mix unless you have concrete proof (which you don’t).
did you get a number? is your organization going to do anything about it? BA lost that game so prob not, but the principle of what they are doing is just wrong
Exactly....the kids don't care...so why should you...BTW....doesn't everybody get a trophy at the end of the year in E9 and BHL.....asking for a friend...

So you are crying because an 07 select player played up in the E9 qualifying game and you are mad because he also played for his own select game?
If it was the other way around, you would have a reason to whine. Move on, you were beat by the select team.
