Kings-Islanders game was great.

Heard about that Kings game as well...Looks like Kings are going to be alot better this year which is good for competition...Sounds like they made some changes from last year...

Yes...IHC went up 5-0 first 7 mins of the game...Kings changed goalies and Kings came back and almost tied it up late in 3rd...Kings new Goalie played great...

Not a IHC dad, they got bored playing that awful SSK team. I blame the coach for not keeping them focused.

Do you see the names on that roster. Like 2/3 of that team played for Canada in the World Selects Championships.

6-8 years from now that team will be the Merrimack roster.

Not a Islander dad just a fan of some good hockey players. Stats really don't matter much as long as the IHC train keeps rolling along. Stay tuned for the announcement of my Islanders podcast.

First, If you were really aware of youth sports you would know there are always trends. Most programs go through highs and lows, most hockey teams will drop if their top two players leave and the team that gets those two players will suddenly look significantly impoved. Second, MFFs? Is that MidFairfield Rangers? Or Manchester Flames? Rangers don't even count since they aren't in this area and Manchester's highest level team plays in the Tier 1 level and isn't running away with anything in every division. They would not do well in the elite level with their current level of players. And 3rd....they fact that you spend so much time analyzing youth hockey at multiple leagues, age groups and teams, begs the question...is your life that empty?

I'm sure you ( I mean your kid) plays at one of the 4 programs that you consider good enough. (insert eye roll emoji here my teenager likes to use but I'm too old to figure out how to put it here)

those are good mite and peewee programs after that it’s pretty much fair game in the EHF.
