many age groups have 2, national elite and elite...i assume national elite is the 1 team and the elite team is the 2 team. both are great money grabs
Where are you going with this? Do you think the parents of the kids on these teams don’t realize the financial aspect? Do it Or don’t do it. The real discussion that should be brought up is the garbage tournaments at the youth level in our area. Talented teams from far are staying away, instead of boycotting a team that makes it a habit to travel to find talented teams we as parents should be boycotting local tournaments. Been doing tournaments now for 3 years and they have been getting progressively worse. Local tournament directors get off your ass’ and put a good tournament together. Invite only
That would be great but they all only care about money. It's a joke to most involved with hockey that people around here will spend so much money on youth hockey.
Wow...the Junior Bruins haven't scammed enough people with their six midget teams so they extend the tentacles of their evil empire all the way down to mites. No wonder why Massachusetts is dying as a hockey hotbed.
You clowns are so funny. Kid gets cut, so you lash out to make yourself feel better. I get it, you want what you can't have...but grow up. If it's a money grab and garbage why bother even commenting? It's pathetic, get a hobby.
The 11 elite team is better than the national team. A lot of top 11s had no interest in trying out but we’re invited to play. If those families choose to, they will definitely move up.
Sorry your kid only made the Elite team. Better luck next year.
Why? Pretty much every kid except 1 or 2 is interchangeable on those two teams and you would have the same result. Both teams share goalies so that's even.
PS- lots of "elite" daddys on the elite team who probably are pounding the door down to get the promotion to the top team
Obviously ur kid didn’t make National Team but to cry about it on this forum is just sad. And if you have nothing to do with that age group you are truly a loser for looking up the results
My 07 did the Jr Bruins summer teams for a couple years. He made the Brick team but didn't play( I couldn't afford it at the time). He loved the tournaments , got to meet and play with a lot of kids he wouldn't have just playing on his club team.
All of this negative talk is from people who have never done it, or from parents of kids who didn't get picked.
In all honesty it's not about you the parents, it's about your kids. Let them build relationships, learn how to face adversity, play against some of the best players at their age level.
