Sorry your kid only made the Elite team. Better luck next year.
Why? Pretty much every kid except 1 or 2 is interchangeable on those two teams and you would have the same result. Both teams share goalies so that's even.

interesting. their national elite team got beat up and their number 2 team did better. probably just luck of the schedule in preliminary round

PS- lots of "elite" daddys on the elite team who probably are pounding the door down to get the promotion to the top team
Obviously ur kid didn’t make National Team but to cry about it on this forum is just sad. And if you have nothing to do with that age group you are truly a loser for looking up the results

Best '11 kid across both of the teams plays at the lower level. Sometimes tryouts just don't get it right.

My 07 did the Jr Bruins summer teams for a couple years. He made the Brick team but didn't play( I couldn't afford it at the time). He loved the tournaments , got to meet and play with a lot of kids he wouldn't have just playing on his club team.

All of this negative talk is from people who have never done it, or from parents of kids who didn't get picked.

In all honesty it's not about you the parents, it's about your kids. Let them build relationships, learn how to face adversity, play against some of the best players at their age level.

Just let the kids he kids and watch them play.

Most of the top '11's don't play....that will change for Brick year.
