I tripped on this and had a little fun reading some of the exchanges.

1) If your kid isn’t begging to practice on his own
2) if your kid isn’t substantially better than his peers
3) if your kid doesn’t have a Jan-April birthday (not fatal, but it helps)
4) if the only hockey your kid plays or practices is the hockey you take him to

.... your kid will be a great beer league player in 14 years.
