Re: E9/BHL program changes

Hopedale Harry
The Most Wonderful Time of Year

That area is way too watered down. The only players available will be kids cut from other EHF/BHL teams. Maybe they can get all the kids from the Jr Mounties, who were East Coast Leafs before that, to come back!
The other question is coaching. Who is going to be coaching this Lovell Hockey dumpster fire? Like the players, maybe they can find some guy who won 5 games as a coach with an EHF silver or white team. Then he can bring the \\\"top\\\" players from a glorified town C team to go suck in the BHL too!
What’s your beef? Rival area club team nervous about the BHL moving in? A local Town team worried about losing your top players? A bad case of Lovell Derangement Syndrome?
You sir, are either an actual delusional Lovell trying to defend your honor, or someone who just has absolutely ZERO pulse on hockey in the area of the Hopedale Rink.
There is no one, NO ONE who is worried about losing anyone to this new team. Go ahead and take kids from the multiple town C teams and call them “elite”, take their parents money and move on...

The area is sick of club hockey teams lying to them. Even the Lovell’s themselves lying about the Leafs when they first tried to get it going.

Come back and pump the tires of the program IF you can actually build it up after year 3. Then maybe you might get some people to buy in.
Final diagnosis of Lovell Derangement Syndrome. The EXTREME variety!

This is a backup plan to Attleboro rink folding or another fall out

Re: E9/BHL program changes

You get a coach and kids from an EHF Silver team you might as well just slot them into the E9!

EHF parity sucks, very easily could have a team have a bad weekend and end up in Silver. At least the BHL does it right and has parity in September, gives teams a chance to get comfortable with each other. Doing parity in April is just wrong.

Not to mention how often the April parity roster doesn’t match the start of the season rosters.

EHF makes more money the way they do it.

Classic post but zero chance any of the rainbow teams could get into e9. Maybe top half of black. Maybe.

We'll find out next season. Stay tuned...

Re: E9/BHL program changes

Mostly non parent coaches as well as a quality skills program heading to Hopedale. May take a season but should be competitive and a better option than Walpole.

So your saying after their 6th program, they are going to start with non parent coaches?
I’ve got a bridge in Hopedale to sell you.

Better option than Walpole isn’t too high of a bar to set.
