Looking for good stick handling skills north of Boston.
Your house, same time as your benders practice on weeknights.
I have heard the greats have all visited and practiced at the same place...their driveway.
In the womb. If your kid doesn't come out with filthy hands might as well sign him up for soccer.
Like Brad Park...a phone booth...
If your hockey player was born with quick hands and is a natural fast twitch athlete. Fast twitch, as in the hand eye and above waist movements are like lightening, then he is better off with a golf ball stick handling in the driveway. If not endowed with the above gifts, anyone coach will do to help him improve.
Total waste of money when you can buy him some Roller blades and street hockey balls/pucks and let him tool around the driveway stick handling.
Off the ice at home a tennis ball, golf ball in the driveway, basement, his room. Just let him have fun and be a kid. On the ice it will transfer slowly just reps at a normal practice you will start to see a difference over time.
Foxy Lady. Brockton. Best stick handling in Boston.
I agree, no coach can replace God given, filthy quick AND strong hands. Stick handling is as much strength as quickness. You need strength to control the puck in the face of defenders. It is no accident when you see great stick handlers always end up with the puck thru a crowd or keep the puck alive along the boards in a crowd. If your bender can't consistently handle a bullet pass or win more puck battles in a crowd, then he needs to self improve, the optimum word, self,...not have Daddy spend his inheritance.
Agree all at home learning. Or if needed turcotte hockey school
