Its not a waste of money if you want the memories, friendships and to play with different players and coaches at the AAA level.
If money is a problem, dont go. Been there twice and each time was pretty awesome, and my son still keeps in touch with his billet family. Playing in the video-tron center in front of 8000 people is pretty cool for the kids.
