Aw jeez you two did a funny
u14 is u15
u15 is not u14
Depends on the team, coach, your players abilities, players end goal and even DOB. You can go back and look at so many of the U14 threads but a few things happen to most teams during the jump from Bantam Minor to Major (U14)
1) Many teams that have been together for years go through major changes in players
2) Majority of teams see a departure of players after Thanksgiving
3) Some coaches don't know how to put together a team that will be able to actually play games after Thanksgiving
On the plus side is the ability to still play with and against a players own age and perhaps be a part of a National bound team that actually qualifies for the tournament
U15, assuming you mean u15 full season, the players and families are generally committed to playing the full season as they have chosen this route over high school. No worries about showing up at that first practice after Thanksgiving and only seeing 6 skaters on the ice.
Downside, quality of talent really varies. Organizations have to make a $ and that often means keeping players that couldn't make their varsity team or in some cases, even their schools top JV team.
Both options generally deliver on ice team, most on total number of games. As I stated, the +/- of these options really depends on the context of what you are really trying to ask.
What’s the significance of Thanksgiving? Start of high school?
Both 14 & 15 year old boys are acceptable under sharia.
