There will undoubtedly be a couple full season teams that will be looking to pick up a player post Thanksgiving. U14 is an odd year and teams can implode once HS starts. If you can handle the uncertainty, and don't want to pay the FS bill, sign up for half and then if HS doesn't work out, reach out to a few nearby clubs. If he is decent, then you'll find a spot.
Hockey Dude nailed it. Have a u14 on a beast team (national bound). 1/2 the team just left and there are spots open. U14 is a crap show. E9 is good advice (I wish I had taken it)
Haha thanks for helping me get my morning going. The best part of this all is the hardo dads that blew up their teams because they had to play in the Beast League are now talking about how the league sucks.
PS 2008 parents for next year don’t worry about the beast league because most of those teams play in the E9 anyways as well.
Boston Hockey Academy
We done with this convo you moron.
The thread is literally titled U14 Full Season Options. Why would anyone think he is posting about mites through peewee aged kids?
Lay off the booze big fella
have him skate Midget hockey 16u. Better development
Do a full season u14 team like the Express. If your kid doesn’t make varsity then JV I won’t be enough. I had one kid make varsity as a freshman and one kid not make it and IMO It’s worth the risk.
