EHF divisions were distributed to program directors a few weeks ago. Platinum will have 11 teams, Upper Gold 15 teams and Lower Gold has 6 teams as of now. It would appear the e9 teams are still begging the league for a spot or threatening to go independent. The only thing my EHF rainbow bender needs is a schedule and some talent to start the season.
Hopefully we could see a 95 Giants kings Merger or PHC/Saints or Breakers/Bandits/Knights.
Get ready for the worst year of youth hockey.
What exactly does this mean for an E9 team?
Dont sweat the small stuff. If your bender is still in the E9 or Fed and not on one of the better U14 clubs, trust me, no merger is going to help. So go with the flow and let the kid get ready for making the varsity in a couple of years. If you got the bucks, send him to prep to keep the bench warm until the elite players start rolling in as upper classmen.
