I’m not sure what the pint of posting this is. I’ve noticed most hockey parents (regardless of what socio economic background they come from) are supportive of police. Lots of cops have their kids playing hockey and they’re good. Money can’t buy talent. Look at Brian yandle. He is a cop now !
Brian Yandle was a TWO TIME ALL AMERICAN and may just be one of the best defensemen to EVER come out of Massachusetts. He played regular as an 8th grader, and that was back when CM and the Catholic Conference was still good.
I give that officer a ton of credit for keeping his cool. Not sure if I could have done the same.
There are bad cops, just like there are bad teachers, bad lawyers, bad doctors, and bad hockey coaches. That said, I think the vast majority of them are decent people who genuinely want to help people and keep people safe. It’s a tough job much of the time. No excuse for this guy harassing that officer.
