We rate on the yummy mommy scale, which they are about a 6.
The org that gets bashed the most here is BA.
Just anbout EVERY single one of them.
No one is saying the eagles aren't a good team. As the mom of a 6 and 8 yr old learning the ropes still it gets old hearing about the same teams and things that happened with them 10 to 20 years ago from a bunch of washed up dads.
I don't know who runs this forum but there are clearly a few teams here that seem to be 'pushed' onto everyone
You sound like a BA mom who thinks her kids mite team is the best until they go to a tournament and get pumped.
2002 JR EAGLES PLAYERS
Sasha Teleguine - University of Connecticut - Jr Terriers
2001 JR EAGLES PLAYERS
Matt Boldy - Boston College - SS Kings
Connor Lovett - Merrimack College - SS Kings
Chase McInnis - Northeastern University -SS Kings
Derek Mullahy - Harvard University - BS Breakers
Mullahy played his entire youth career with the BSB. Fact.
You have no idea what you are talking about.. You do realize that elite prospects does not list the youth teams kids played for. They list the Q and Brick teams and that is it.
Dude is a clown - Mullahy played for BSB most of his youth career then Jr Terriers then Jr Eagles as they put together a team for Nationals.
The insecurity of people is just staggering. your squirt plays for BJE doesn't mean sh*t. good players at some point converging at the BJE is not proof that they are great developing players. BJE are good finding good players. They are a good organization in a great geographic location. Things change when kids hit u14 - there is a reason that the competitive landscape at u16 is completely different from mites.
The credit of developing players should rarely go to their youth clubs they provide an environment where kids can play competitive games. the credit belongs to the players who at some point realize that there is a path and they work their butt off to get there. good skill and good skating coaches. if they are lucky they have decent youth coaches that provide a good environment and are not screwing up skill development. Just look at goalies. There is no way the BSB are getting credit for developing DM. That's on his goalie coach.
Watch your kid. enjoy the ride.
BSB sucks. You couldn't pay me to have my kids play for them.
IF BJE is so great (particularly at the youth level) why do so many of their players spend the extra money on Will O'neill skills, jr bruins and to be in other random tourney's? Perhaps the BJE itself isn't doing enough. A few of the BJE teams as young as '14s had their kids fly to Chicago for labor day weekend to be in a tournament. Of course the parents had to pay and it's something many teams could have done. Islanders had some kids go also.
I know you’re still busy trying to make sure 2014 Timmy makes it out of his pull-ups and makes it to the toilet so I’ll go easy on you. 95% of the top kids in the area are involved in some sort of outside skills/ skating instruction/tournament team. That’s not a knock on the organization that’s developing the player, it’s just a sign of the times. The FOMO is real with hockey parents.
well kudos to these feeder programs. Give them some credit I'd say.
I think people forget that teams can't necessarily change a player. If a kid doesn't have talent or isn't really into the game no team or league can change that. If a player is truly talented it will work out for them.
