I don't think it's just location. There is more to choose from but one program will always be better than the other. There are a lot of programs on the south shore - BSB, BB, SSK, BJT and BA. It makes you wonder why all these programs operate out of a similar location. Perhaps it was close proximity to more rinks? BJE on the other hand doesn't have many other programs around so perhaps that is a reason they are successful. These teams have all been around for a while now and have built a re****tion for themselves.
The program that is most out of the way it seems is BB. SSK isn't much better. If you're on the south shore you don't want to go to Bridgewater or Foxboro. The people that have the big money and means to spend on hockey are in places like Hingham, Norwell, Cohasset, Scituate, Duxbury. They're not going to Bridgewater or Foxboro.
BB have zero shot at success and its 100% due to location. Its impossible to get there and its not located in a hockey rich area. No one is driving an hour down Route 18 to get there 3 times a week even if Wayne Gretzky himself was the coach. BA is successful because of location....big money area and big hockey area. Its not rocket science. BSB are also screwed due to location. BJT at least have highway access and decent hockey area to pull from (Canton, etc).
well clearly they didn't pick your kid for the team...... bitter beer face.....
I'm going to guess that BSB hasn't cut anyone either.
