Maybe his kid will go to Thayer for free and get a pretty good education. St. Sebs might be a little better but Thayer is comparable. Saving $50,000 a year probably makes a difference to most people.
Yeah that would be a good deal to get free tuition. I'm not sure a coach is considered full time though. Many other coaches are teachers there but I don't think this is the case for him.

Thayer and Seb's are not academically & athletically the same. Seb's has standards. Mind your pace here.

St sebs and Thayer are probably similar academically but st sebs has a better hockey team. Not sure if this will matter for hymos kid in the long run.
