I hear they will be much better next season! Changes coming to Foxboro.
So they won’t have a coach from an older age team and a couple U16 kids trying to impress 10yr olds with their sweet moves instead of trying to help kids get better?
Lovell program has the best club skills. They work on skating form and correct kids doing reps wrong. They also work on shooting and stick handling. Wish they worked more on passing. Lovell kids tend to be good skaters and stick handlers but suck at passing. Best skills I've seen around.
They do seem to work on skating and form before passing.
Lovell has the best when you pay for the weekly skills . As far as included they all suck
I'm sure clubs/orgs have come to the realization of why bother including much when people pay for so much in addition. What did people think would happen? nothing for free these days.
Best skills around by far is that club team called Basement Driveway HC. Great program.
And those guys are the least expensive too. The problem is they only take players who actually want to put in the time and effort to get better (which is the minority). Daddy can’t just shuttle his bender to the rink and pay $100 to have a skills guys run him through the circuits.

If that were true, why are the giants, knights, leafs and icemen not competitive?

I've never heard of leafs. The 2013 ice men are good.
I think everyone knows BA is the team to play for within Lovell.
My kid plays for a Lovell team and skills night is Tuesdays. I've noticed not everyone goes to skills. I'm kind of surprised because I'd think that's an important piece of it but maybe Tuesdays don't work for all families.
Also kids from other teams in the area go to Lovell skills so that says something too.
