Re: PHL/EHF

From what I can see on their twitter account they are part of PHL, EHF Selects & Beast League.

Re: PHL/EHF

Guessing they were denied for one of two reasons or both:

1) The club looking to join pulls kids from the same general geographic area as a FED founding member. Always looking out to protect the business model.
2) The club looking to join is owned or run by someone that a FED founding member has issues with. In other words, it's run by someone the board feels is a jerk. Trying to think back but I believe there was a lawsuit between the parties over ice contracts at Essex a few years back.

In this case, both could be true if the Wings actually wanted to join. First, they pull from the same area as the Islanders and second, the two organizations have a poor history with each other.
This is the reason the leagues are all so top/bottom heavy. Needless drama between idiot owners, and all in it for the $$. Wish it was more about, you know, hockey. Kids are the ones that suffer in this BS.

Re: PHL/EHF

Agreed. Seems to be an ego thing. There are certain birth years across various different leagues that should play each other because they have similar competition but it's not allowed.

Exactly. The" money grab" nature of these sh*thead owners prevents better teams playing each other and the leagues at large being more competitive. Basically, all of the leagues in MA pull this BS.. The bottom 1/2, or even worse, 2/3 of teams aren't even in the mix. And, the top 3-4 teams just shuffle the deck back and forth annually. Waste of everyone's time, kids development...etc. Kids lose the worst because they don't develop and are pretend heroes because they can beat the sh*tty teams that shouldn't even be in the league to begin with. Keep raking in the $$ though, sh*theads. Look no further than the Americans. They still play in that rat infested sh*thole hockey town. Don't put a dime into the program, just take the $$. S***bags.

I think people enjoy seeing more evenly matched games. Parents don't enjoy the kids losing by a lot, they also don't enjoy winning by a lot because they feel it was too easy for their kid and want them to be challenged. At the end of the day very little development comes out of the games that happen once or twice a week, particularly at the younger ages where each kid plays for 20 minutes.

Keep your kid in town, spend your extra money on specialty clinics/programs for your kids development. Leave this rat race to the rats that collect the tuitions.

Scoreboard Lightbulbs and cleaning supplies are expensive. Why would I fix or clean everything when you idiots keep giving me money anyway?

Re: PHL/EHF

Thanks for chiming in slumlord. And, you may want to look into an incident that took place in that sh*thole on NY's Day that involved a leaky roof and a person being taken away in an ambulance with a severe injury.

I’ve already found a loophole to get out of that one. I think I’ll raise ice rates 20% anyway and you’ll still pay!

That infested crack house of a rink needs to be bulldozed to the ground. I can't even imagine how illegal that structure is.

I’ve already greased the right people in the Saugus City Govt. Those losers are way cheaper than paying for improvements to my cash cow.
