Well done you and yours, for all you hard work commitment and never
ending love for these most beautiful creatures. "Neddy" was my only
friend, the milkman's horse. As a young child I was always around him grooming the top of him, under him, his mixing bowl feet, I would ride him with nothing but a piece of bale string, but together as we plodded along I was a little native princess and he was my indian pony racing
together through the Rockies, as we plodded through the field.
The Great Spirit watches over people like you and smiles!

I happened to be at Olex one day in Kitchener and I reconginized you and your husband Henry sitting waiting to bid on another fortunate draft. I was so happy too see both of you there , I felt like I was looking at two celeberaties. I finally approached you to ask you how do you know which is the right horse to pick and Andrea you looked at me and said you will know in your heart. Since that time I have rescued 5 in 3 yrs. I know its not much but I am trying to help , I have found wonderful homes for all .. You have both been such an inspiration to me ..Thank-you both I am however saddened that you have come to an end on what you both do best..God Bless you both for all your hard work..Deb.

I just happened upon your site while searching for rescue horses and dogs. It was a priveledge to have clicked on your link. I see that you
have decided to end your rescue operation now but what a change you have made in so many horses lives. You have given them new hope and life through your tender care, much love, hard work and precious time.
It all shows in the appearance of the horses and in their eyes.
Bless your hearts for doing so. I know there were sacrifices you had to
and have to make dedicating yourselves to your charges.
Kudos to you both !!
Wishing you the best of health, happiness and success in the New Year

Andrea and Henry, thank you so much for what you have done for the horses. I checked your site almost daily to read the horses' stories and see them bloom in your care. I will be moving to a country property in the next couple of years and had been hoping to be able to adopt one of your rescues at that time. Thanks again for all you've done.

First off I just want to say I'm a big fan of adoption and I'm glad to see that you don't adopt mares for breeding purposes. I'm very much against breeding, in any case. My boyfriend is a GREEN RIDER and we were looking to adopt a draft horse. Maybe a Percheron cross or something a little less wide for my bad hip. We are looking for a safe broke riding / driving/ plow horse for when we buy a farm up north. He has to be easy going and safe for a green rider. If there is a nice horse like that; that you know about we would love to come have a look. I think a gelding would suit him well. Thanks a lot! - Tiff.

Thank you for your time, commitment, patience, understanding, and love! We know how hard it is to rehabilitate horses let alone the financial commitment. You have touched many horses and gave them a life, a good life, please always be proud of that fact even if you can't do it forever. One life saved is still one life. Thank you.
