we was taken to the George and dragon by a family relative who lives across the way from the pub we was greeted by very friendly staff who took our meal orders with a smile and nothing was any trouble manner ..  we look forward to visiting this friendly pub again in the not to distant future ...............oh yes did i mention the meals were brilliant   |

On of the nicest sunday roasts we have haf in a pub.really nice atmosphere And your made to feel so welcome.had irish folk music playing which was superb.a true village pub which im happy to say will now be my local. |

Had the great pleasure of celebrating my birthday with friends and family at this lovely venue. Mike and the staff are most welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly go back again....initially went to see The Beatniks duo, who also happen to be friends of mine. I can thoroughly recommend this venue, sadly didn't get to sample their cuisine, as they didn't do food in the evening. |

I looked for your site out of curiosity. My Dad, Jesse Thompson used to run the G&D in the 1950's. I have some newspaper cuttings from when they used to have pub days out, everyone on the coach to the seaside! |
