Deborah Brownfield - Stanley

What is your email address?

Alohawahine75@aol.com

What surnames are you researching?

Handley/Hanley, Stanley, Stengill, Strother, Boggs.

Do you have any comments?

1910 Census Greenup Co. Clabe, Rosa, Lillie, Clarence, Allen, Manley - all Stanley's and Bertha Strother, from Rosa's first marriage to Kenaston Strother. 1900 Census they were in Boyd Co., Kentucky. Would like to track them further back but cannot find them anywhere. It's like they did not exist prior to 1900. Clabe/Henry C. Stanley was supposedly born in Scott Co., Virginia, May, 1865. Other than his death certificate can find nothing. Clabe's parents are unknown on certificate. But have been told his parents were James Stanley and Sally or Sarah Stengill, both born in Virginia. Clabe had one brother mentioned in his obit, Flenn or Flem. Found a Fleming Stanley in West Virginia, but do not know if this is his brother. Any of this sounds familiar please contact me.
Thank you, Deborah

I would like to know who is Simeon's family. I know that there were Alfred who was born in Green up then he moved to Lawrence Ohio around 1820. Somehow he and Simeon are connection to each other. I also found Hiram on census but who is Alfred and Hiram. Why are they connected to Simeon. I would like to know who is Simeon's parent are... Simeon married to Martha Ann Collier. Martha had Hastings in her line, I wondering is Martha and Simeon could be relative to each other or what??? I also found that Hannah married to Thomas J. Thomas. Thomas and Simeon went to 5th WV and they both died. Which Simeon left his wife and three children behind. They never recovered Simeon's body. There were spell on Simeon, not sure which is correct spell. It was Simmeon, Simon or Simeon. Simeon had son name is James but James always sign Allen not James. He had two daughter who is Mary and Sarah. Mary went to Ohio, but Sarah went to AL. But what happen to them and where is their family at???

What is your name?

Kelly Robert McAllister

What surnames are you researching?

McAllister, Hannah, Hicks

Do you have any comments?

Two McAllister families were among the first American settlers in Washington Territory; James and Charlotte McAllister arriving in 1845 and John Wesley and Mary Jane McAllister arriving in 1852. I'm researching both of these families, trying to determine the relationships of James and John. Supposedly, their family owned a foundry in Greenup called Fulton Forge foundry. I haven't been able to find anything on it.
