COT: This is confusing. I would go back to the Lawyer who drew up the divorce papers and tell her what happened. Can your ex take them to school? Can another parent or relative take them? It seems like you are going to have to send them to school in the district they are supposed to be in or send them to private school if you and your ex can afford it. If you did not have a Lawyer or that Lawyer is not available, I would get a Family Lawyer. Tell the Lawyer you are concerned if you switch schools that you would be violating the divorce agreement. I'm sure something can be done.
