Several years ago the court ordered a support for 4 children based on income amounts entered through false paperwork and lies given under oath. Several years later we received documents from a past employer showing his true income. It was not just a minor amount but infact would have took the award for $165. to $2,400 monthly. We tried to file an amendment with the court but were told that since a sigiture was signed on the divorce decree a change in the support was NOT going to be heard in the court. I have since had a period of time when he tried to pull the same thing thing again. The judge refused to allow me to bring that up since it wasn’t established and happened to many years ago. And now my adult children have been told that since the correct amount was never ordered as support they cannot take him to court for the past due that he truly owes us. Any information, thoughts or advice would be so appreciated.
