I’m curious to know how many people on here have a shared custody arrangement (50/50). If you do, does it work well or are there problems associated with it?
It all depends on your particular circumstance. Although my ex only asked for and received every other weekend, it only happens if my son makes it happen (17). From day one his dad has "forgotten" it's his weekend. Son is the one who plans his days off work, texts his dad that he's coming, and drives up and back to see him. Some parents don't give a crap about seeing their kids, some do. I can't fathom 50/50 custody with an irresponsible parent like mine. If yours is halfway responsible, then you can make it work.
