I have sole custody in Texas for my two children. There father lives in Nebraska with his girl friend. He took my girls for what was supposed to be three weeks for a visit and has not returned them nor does he plan too. I have been to NE to get them and the police said it was civil and they could not make them open the door and give me back my children. He has no visitation unless I ok it which I will never do again. They told me I could register my custody in NE but I am not sure how to do that. Can you help me figure out what rights I have and how to register in NE. Mind you me and my children are residence of Texas not NE he is in NE. We were also never married or divorced.
