I really need some help. I will try to keep this story as short as possible.

I married this man in 2009, shortly after I became pregnant and had my first child. This man became violent a couple months after I gave birth. I ended up leaving him in 2010. A few months later, I started dating a new man, and a year later I became pregnant with baby #2. (At this point, I’m still married to man #1).

Jump ahead a couple years and I have left man #2 and move to a different state.

In 2015 I filed for divorce from man #1, but because I didn’t have child support order copy from first child, the divorce came to a halt. I became so engulfed in my work that i put this issue to the side and did not continue.

Fast forward to the present, I filed once again. I have no idea where man #1 is. I have to establish paternity of baby #2 because he was born while I was married to man #1 and he needs to deny paternity before man #2 can claim paternity (which he is willing to do).

I’m so overwhelmed with this process and fear I will never be granted a divorce as long as I can’t find him.

What can I do? How can I finally end this almost decade long chapter?
