I am going through a divorce and his attorney is trying to go after the 401k that I had liquidated during the marriage so I could pay off my townhouse. We were only married for 7 years. The townhouse was bought before we were married and it was in my name.

Would he be able to do that even though he refused to invest anything while we were married and did not have a problem with my paying off the townhouse while we were married?
