I would just say it shows his level of evolution as a person.

He can't stand being alone with himself so he has to have another relationship before the other comes to a conclusion.

That speaks volumes about him and it speaks volumes about you, meaning you are strong.

But I will say for me, when I finally leave I might be like him to a point just for the shear fact I haven't had sex in my entire 23 years of marriage and honestly I have waited long enough.
