I am sorry that you are going through this. yes, we had this problem. He tried some things, but without much success.
I would get very annoyed because he would want to initiate sex, but couldn't perform - we had other issues and I didn't really want to have sex with him anyways.
I was also worried about my children, but having them experience a dysfunctional and unhappy marriage as their role model isn't' really doing them any good.
