What do you want to do? If there were no barriers and you could just have what you wanted today, what would it be? Would you want to be on your own or would you want to be able to stay together?

If you believe you would be happier living without him, then yes meet with a divorce attorney and make a plan.
If you really don't want to do that, can you structure your home that you can each live somewhat independently of each other. Can you create your own space in the home and build your own life outside the home without him?
