Did anyone in this forum had delays on finalizing divorce ?
We are having like a yo-yo situation
He wants one particular property and I would like to keep that one but he does not like to give up easily
What happens if he still wants the property?
My lawyer is telling me that in the end if either of us does not come to an agreement the judge will decide how to properly separate the community property . Is it correct?
I do not want to sell this rental property at all, I want to keep it to my Kids when I pass away .

Any answers will be greatly appreciated if someone went through this type of situation

My suggestion is to see if there is anything else you can negotiate with - maybe he'd like something else in the split and you can keep the house. I'd also check with your lawyer to see if they have any suggestions.

That is the only one that we both want since it was purchased together ...what happens than if he keep pushing for this property
