I guess yesterday I didn't know what day it was as I put in a report for Fri. That's what happens when you are a RFP. (Retired fishing partner) Every day is alike. So here's the second Fri of this weeks report. Fished with Gray Ghost and Bluefin on the "Peggy C". Boated 33 fish all released and swimming to catch another day. 16 lakers, 15 salmon, 1 rainbow, and a white perch. Only had one long distance release, but had several releases on the down riggers. The early bite was awesome. Had 20 fish by 8:30 and nearly every one came on flies. Blue Fin landed the largest salmon and laker. Salmon was just under 24" as was the laker. Both weighed 4 1/2#. He also got the fattest Salmon, 21 1/2" 4 3/4#. Gray Ghost and I caught our share of 20 and 21" lakers and a mix of salmon from a few runts to 21". I caught a 20" 4 1/4# salmon. Used a lot of flies that Gray Ghost tied
but I can't remember the names. Best color flies were red/purple, red ghost. green, and pink. Best lures were top gun orange/black dots, smelt gun orange/gold,
smelt gun blue/silver. 6 to 8 colors on lead, and 35 to 48' on riggers. A fun time was had by all, and enjoyed talking with everyone on the radio. Saw the eagle out there again today.

Yeah, we saw two different rainbows yesterday. The one at sun-up was quite unique. Too bad my camera batteries were dead. Some dummy (me) left the camera on all night.
It was a nice sunrise too. Great day all around... luckily the rain didn't last long.
